Lal Masjid chief cleric Maulana Abdul AzizÂ’s counsel, Shaukat Siddiqui, on Saturday submitted an application to the special anti-terrorist court number-I for bail in five cases.The cases were registered with Aabpara, Margalla and Kohsar police stations. Judge Chaudhry Habibur Rehman fixed September 27 for hearing of the application.
Rahsid Rauf, a dual citizen of Pakistan and Britain and main accused in the 2006 transatlantic aircraft plot, was produced before anti-terrorist court number-II under Section 418, 419, 420 7ATA. Judge Sakhi Mohammad Kahoot fixed September 25 for hearing of the cases.
