Iran ready to fill the vacuum in Iraq, Short Round sez |
2007-08-29 |
Iran is ready to fill the vacuum that will leave the United States in Iraq, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said. “The political power of Washington is being destroyed rapidly and very soon we will be witnessing a great power vacuum in the region,” Ahmadinejad added. In a news conference, Iranian President discarded the possibility of a US attack against Iran since US has much to worry about in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran will know how to respond if the United States labels Iranian Revolutionary guards as a terrorist force, Ahmadinejad warned. |

#5 Actually, I kinda can see myself enjoying a Soody-Iranian proxy war in post-American Iraq. |

#4 The only vacuum that needs filling by Ahmadinejad and Iran's mullahs lies just outside of the International Space Station's airlock. |

#3 Iran will know how to respond if the United States labels Iranian Revolutionary guards as a terrorist force, Ahmadinejad warned. I assume they'd probably respond like... terrorists? Keep yapping, midget. |

#1 But who will fill the power vacuum in Iran, after we take out the mullahs, nuke facilities, refineries and shipping ports? |
