Islamic centre attacked in northern Italy
2007-08-11
Two petrol bombs were hurled at the building in Abbiategrasso, on the outskirts of Milan, and a pipe bomb, which did not explode, was left outside.
Unidentified assailants attacked an Islamic cultural centre in northern Italy overnight, police said on Friday, prompting Muslim community leaders to express concern that hostility in Italy towards their faith may be growing. Two petrol bombs were hurled at the building in Abbiategrasso, on the outskirts of Milan, and a pipe bomb, which did not explode, was left outside. No one was injured and the building was undamaged. "There is worry among Muslims about ... Islamophobia," said Omar Camiletti, an adviser to the Muslim World League in Italy.

#7  I think the pipe bomb was left to see if the authorities would return it to the proper owners.
Like let's see which side Sheriff Smokie is on.

#6  Two fire bombs tossed plus one unexploded pipe bomb = no damage to the Centre. Hmmmm...

Are the reavers so blessed by allan to have incompetent backlashers on their case? Maybe the real perps never meant to cause harm. Maybe the intent was to give the reavers an opportunity to scream islamophobia.

#4  We need to keep a close watch and see if this type of behavior spreads to other parts of Italy, and to the rest of the EU. If it does, the muzzies had better pack up and head back to where they came from, toot sweet. Many of us here have written about a possible backlash against muzzies. It looks like it's starting, at least in Italy.

#1  Not Islamophobia (irrational fear of Islam) but Islamoapostrephomia (loathing of Islam).
