| #6 Shocker. (Junk science at the base, I mean.) It puts a little perspective on the leftist argument that "Bush is using terrorism to scare the American people." Why? Because, it is what they would do, given the chance, and what they HAVE been doing using everything from cancer to nuclear power to genetically modified organisms to environment doom for decades. |

| #5 Rachel Carson did kill a lot of people, but since when is that a good thing? I'll have to dig up the link, but IIRC, not only was the resulting DDT ban deadly to millions of humans but was based on mostly junk science. |
