Falling Suicide Mastiff breaks woman's neck
2007-06-05
A woman's neck was fractured after being hit by a falling, 40-kilogram Tibetan Mastiff yesterday morning in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. The dog was martyred died at the scene, the Chongqing Morning News reported today. The reason why the Mastiff fell is being investigated by local police.
The first question would normally be "Why do dogs hate us?" This being China, I think we can skip that one.
A witness who was polishing shoes near the site said the animal didn't bark in the air and its head hit the ground after hitting the victim. It suffered from a wound as large as a fist and died after 30 seconds.

A female witness who was selling newspapers nearby said she heard a bang at around 8am, followed by the victim's shout. "I was shocked when I saw the large animal lying on the ground with blood," she said.

The middle-aged victim surnamed Zhang was on her way to breakfast, together with her husband when she was hit by the Mastiff falling from the roof garden of a nine-story residential building, the report said.

Zhang was rushed to a nearby hospital at Jiulongpo District and later transferred to the No. 1 Affiliated Hospital to Chongqing Medical University for further treatment due to her severe injuries.

An elderly woman who declined to be identified said the owner of the Mastiff surnamed Dai lives on the eighth floor of the building. She added that about half an hour later, the body of the Mastiff was taken away by a woman whose identity was unknown.

The price of the black Mastiff was estimated at more than 400,000 yuan (US$52,288), the report said.
Wow!

Tibetan Mastiffs, dubbed the world's "most powerful canine," is renowned as a fearsome guard dog, protectors-to-the-death and revered by some as "the sacred fooddog of the East." It is also the latest celebrity status symbol sought by stars and wealthy people who need fearless watch dogs in China and who appreciate that it serves twelve.
The Canine Jihad begins.

His own death, at least....

Wonder why his owner threw him off the balcony?

Of course not, any flying object typically has safety interlock switches incorporated and the mastiff's audio warning system was activated by a weight on paws switch; no wait, no bark. (weight on paws, or WOP, similiar to the sound the body made on impact. coincidence?)

#5  This is the first I've heard of a jihadist Mastiff. Why do they hate us?

Expect that "bang" to be missing from the official white-washed report. This ear-witness clearly heard a bomb yet we are meant to believe "it's raining cats and dogs." Which is easier to believe? That a dog could fly - something that is physically impossible, Google it - or that the Mossad in conjunction with the PLA coordinating anti-jihadi activities in China's far western provinces would use this opportunity to field test a black ops wet-work field implosive device?
