(KUNA) -- Suspected Taliban militants Thursday fired rockets at a paramilitary base in North Waziristan tribal agency, causing material damage but no life loss was reported, said officials. Militants fired two rockets at the headquarters of Tochi Scouts in Miramshah, the main town of North Waziristan agency, security officials told KUNA. They said one rocket landed inside the headquarter complex, knocking down its wall, while, another rocket fell in an abandoned field. Immediately after the attack, said officials, forces launched an operation to apprehend the militants but they succeeded in escaping. |
