#3 The local Muslim leaders would flip out if he asked for *anonymous* Muslims to come on his show to condemn terrorism. They would seriously freak out, because most of their strength comes from pretending that the entire community is monolithic in their beliefs. That might even be a national draw. If things got too hot in the studio, he could go somewhere else for "secret interviews". It would even have a comic element, using voice distortion equipment. I hope somebody suggests this to him. |
