#6 I'm all for resumption of actual underground nuclear testing. The new generation of warheads should not be deployed until they are tested properly. Would that even be possible now? You have all these nuts making noise about 700 tons of TNT. Wonder what they would do if some 'W10's are tested? |

#5 The loudest critics said the plan revived bitter memories of government "lies" during Cold War-era tests, when officials said there would be no danger. Wah. Sounds like using Spotted Owls to stop logging in the Northwest. And they fell for it again! Do we always have to satisfy the lowest common denominator? No wonder the US is so hamstrung. |
