 NARSINGDI, Jan 19: Police shot one dacoit to death and caught another two red handed while they were committing dacoity in the house of one Pankaj Saha at Hazipur village last night, reports BSS.

On a tip-off, police gheraoed the area but the dacoits opened gunfire sensing the presence of law enforcers.
"Hark! My spider sense is tingling!"
"Oh dang, we're in for it now, the RAB?"
"Naw, local coppers. Let's try to shoot it out with them!" |
Police also opened counter fire and as a result Selim (21), son of Zulhas Mia, was seriously injured and later he died at Narsingdi sadar hospital.

Selim''s accomplices Anwar and Aminul Islam was arrested by police, who also recovered one Ramdha from their possession.
