An Air France passenger went amok at Oslo's main airport at Gardermoen on Monday and ended up biting one of the airline's employees at the check-in counter.
The passenger, a 37-year-old Norwegian citizen who is nameless in the article, reportedly was furious because he was told he had too much baggage, and then missed his flight after being told to deposit some of the excess baggage at the airport's lost-and-found department.
He got so angry that he first tried to throw a vase at the Air France worker behind the counter. When he missed, he jumped over the counter and physically assaulted the employee, biting him in the chest.
The 40-year-old Air France worker, who bled from the wound, was taken to an emergency clinic for treatment. "I don't know what kind of treatment he'll get, but probably a rabies shot," Petter Olausson of the Gardermoen police station told Aftenposten.no. "That's at least what I'd ask for."
The passenger was taken into police custody and faced questioning later on Monday. "We're just waiting for his victim to get back from the clinic," Olausson said.
Why, so the perp can bite him again? |
