| Hamas leader: Iran gave gov't $120 million in aid |

| Iran has given the Hamas-led Palestinian government more than $120 million this year, a Hamas leader said Thursday, and the Iranian government promised to sending money to the administration amid a Western financial embargo. The US and Europe have cut off hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to the Palestinian government to pressure Hamas to recognize Israel and renounce violence. Iran, a longtime ally of Hamas, has moved in with funds to try to fill the void, boosting its influence among Palestinians. |

| #3 Perfect ! Keep up the money embargo so Iran will continue to sink more good money into this losing cause. Whose currency do they use there ? Is it counterfeit ? |

| #2 The Hamas announcement was made probably to 'shame' the Arab sponsors of the PA (Saudi Arabi and the Gulf States). The latter group are tired of subsidizing the PA and have been late in fulfilling their 'pledges'. |
