Israeli helicopters strike civilian target in Gaza
2006-11-16
(KUNA) -- Israeli helicopters on Wednesday fired two missiles at a civilian target in Shatea' Refugee Camp in western Gaza City. Local radio stations said the two missiles hit the residence of Yousef Al-Sharrafi, while sirens of ambulance vehicles and fire brigades' were heard in area. Israeli helicopters and surveillance airplanes were also heard circling the skies over the city.

The air strike came hours after Israel threats to react to the Palestinian missile strikes on Sderot settlement in southern Israel. The local radio stations in Gaza called on citizens to exercise caution and stay alert amid fears of other Israeli raids.

I wouldn't say "voted for war", as that was done a long time ago, only sub rosa. They just finally declared it to be official policy.

#8  Zen is right. They put Hamas in power and at that point voted for war.

#7  There isn't a block in Gaza that doesn't have storage for terrorists I bet.

That's most likely true, Charles. For myself, any notion of "Palestinian citizen" ended when they elected a terrorist (Hamas) government. All those women racing to that mosque in order to serve as human shields for terrorists really nailed the coffin shut.

#6  And, yet, no mention in the media of why this strike was truly called....one Israeli civilian killed in the Paleos strike. Oh, the Circle of Violence(tm) again!

#5  Zenster: That was exactly what I was thinking when I saw this headline. There isn't a block in Gaza that doesn't have storage for terrorists I bet.

#4  As long as the Israelis do not target the first responders. That technique is reserved for the Lions of Islam™

#3  The deliberate israeli targeting of fluffy bunnies, wide-eyed puppies and cute ducklings must stop! No blood for pets!

#2  In the Palestinian Terrortories there is no such thing as a "civilian target."

#1  I bet "civilian" in Kuna language = terrorist in English
