Eleven Iraqi militants killed in clashes with US forces
2006-11-16
(KUNA) -- Some 11 Iraqi gunmen were killed in clashes with US forces in Ramadi Wednesday, the US Army said here. US Marines killed five militants while they were trying to plant a bomb explosive on a Ramadi street, it said in a release circulated here Wednesday. Another four Iraqi gunmen were also killed by US forces while they were trying to steal equipment from a damaged US vehicle in the city. The other two Iraqi armed men were also killed in a separate incident when US troops found them planting a bomb explosive, it added. Meanwhile, the US army dismissed reports that 30 Iraqi civilians were killed in a US air raid on Ramadi Monday evening.

#12  Shipman, you know I'm pretty ignorant about such techinical sport matters... but does it count as a slug if it's a 7.62 whatsis?

#11  Dwelling on the hits, runs and errors is useless in a modern battlefield.

Concentrate on the Ended Rat Average and the Slugging Percentage.

#9  Thanks C!

Say didn't we kill 410 cave dwellers for Allen on September 10th? I recall it was a huge number and of course none of the MSM covered it.

#6  Nice work, Chuck. I'll try and spread that site far and wide. Now to shreading that article.

gunmen....militants....gunmen....armed men....civilians

WTF is that? Don't ever use the "terrorist" word. "Shhhhhhh, we're huntin' wabbits."

#5  Yeah, Terrorist Death Watch is mine. If Lancet and Iraq Body Count and the old media can count or miscount civilian deaths and list every single guy we lose on a daily basis, I figured someone should report the other side, the mooks we take out.

#2  I would count "runs" as those that ran away (injured or not), with "hits" being actual, well, hits.

#1  O.K. Eleven runs, no hits, no errors.

(Civilians would be errors)
