(KUNA) - Two people were killed on Wednesday in a suicide car bombing that targeted a funeral south of Baghdad, said Iraqi police sources. The bombing took place in Al-Sehha suburb, in the volatile Dorrah district, south Baghdad, and injured 15 other persons, the sources added. Earlier in the day a booby-trapped car went off at Al-Kilani refueling station, killing eight persons.Meanwhile, U.S. and Iraqi forces arrested 38 suspects in Mosul, Baghdad, Al-Ramadi, Salah-Eddin, Diali and Kerkuk in the last 24 hours, according to a statement issued by office of General Commander of Iraqi Armed Forces. Eighteen other militants and suspects were arrested north Baghdad and in Anbar province Wednesday morning, the U.S. military said, adding that the suspects were being investigated. A leader of al-Qaeda organization was also arrested in the crackdown that led also to destruction of a weapons cache, according to an Iraqi security source.
