#2 This story disturbed me for quite some time after I read it. Apart from Adelman's breathtaking treachery, the question is what he knows that we don't. He insists that we were losing, I assume militarily. Rummy insisted that we were only losing in public opinion. Are we taking far greater losses than I am aware of? Is the ratio of friendly to enemy casualties getting worse? I want to understand. |
