LAHORE: Prince Charles and his wife Camilla worshipped at visited the Pakistani city of Lahore yesterday - and avoided the mistake of the late Princess Diana, whose short skirt outraged mullahs at a historic mosque. The heir to the British throne and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, spent three hours in the eastern city touring a Sikh Temple and an Anglican Church, as well as the red sandstone Badshahi Mosque.
They removed their shoes in keeping with custom at the giant 17th-century mosque, where they were received by the prayer leader. The prince put on soft black foot covers while Camilla went barefoot. Camilla kept her legs hidden underneath a grey and ivory shalwar kameez - a tunic and trouser set. She also wore a blue headscarf. Charles wore a grey suit and tie.

And she had great legs to show off. | Some angry Muslim leaders said she should have covered up. |
