An IDF soldier was lightly wounded on Wednesday when he was hit by a concrete block thrown by a Palestinian during an arrest operation in El-Amri refugee camp, next to Ramallah. During the operation, IDF Special Forces arrested an Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades operative and two other Palestinian fugitives. Two pistols were found in Palestinians' possession. Palestinian gunmen fired on the troops while other Palestinians in the vicinity threw stones and blocks. The troops returned fire, hitting two of the gunmen. The wounded soldier was evacuated from the scene for medical treatment.
