(KUNA) -- Iraqi police found a makeshift weapons and explosives manufacturing plant in Baghdad early on Sunday, a source of the Interior Ministry said. An exchange of fire was heard Sunday morning in a home on a street in Al-Karada neighborhood. After the police raided the house, they found three dead human bodies and a large cache of weapons and ammunition, according to the source who spoke on condition of anonymity.The police found materials used to make explosive devices, wires, and TNT explosives, the source added. The materials were guarded on the scene until a special force arrived for confiscation. The source said the house was being used by insurgents to manufacture explosive devices and bombs to target Iraqi security forces and civilians in Baghdad.
