Israel captures two Hezbollah fighters |

ISRAELI troops had seized two Hezbollah guerrillas during fighting in southern Lebanon, the army said today. They were believed to be the first prisoners taken in Lebanon during the 12-day-old conflict. The army said they were seized in the village of Maroun al-Ras. Maroun al-Ras, just across the Lebanese border, has been the scene of heavy clashes in recent days. |

#2 After a suitable debrief time, Israel should contact someone like Egypt and remand these prisoners too them. In this way, Egypt as a signatory to a piece treaty with Israel is enabled in a proactive and responsible way. This will do worlds for public opinion as the media will then report the Proper way to handle prisioners in an undeclared war; Hizbollah not being a state through which negotiations can occur. Egypt might then propose and be appointed to accept any prisoners from either side and hold them until hostiities cease. |
