JERUSALEM, July 12 (Reuters) - Israeli Defence Minister Amir Peretz on Wednesday authorised a campaign of air strikes in Lebanon that would target both Hizbollah guerrilla installations and Lebanese civilian infrastructure, Israel's Channel 10 said.The television station described the planned blitz as part of Israel's response to the capture of two of its soldiers and killing of several others in a Hizbollah border raid earlier in the day. Israel's military had no immediate comment. Channel 10 said Peretz also ordered Israel's homefront command to prepare northern communities, including the port city of Haifa, for possible Hizbollah rocket strikes. Residents of Israeli border towns had already received orders to take shelter.
