(KUNA) -- Iraqi police arrested nine insurgents in two different operations Saturday in Kirkuk in northern Iraq. A police source in Kirkuk told KUNA that they arrested four insurgent snipers in Kirkuk.In another raid, police arrested an insurgent, who was responsible for transferring weapons. The Iraqi police managed to free an Iraqi woman and arrest her four captives after locals informed an Iraqi army patrol about her abduction. Meanwhile, Insurgents managed to kill the head of the Kirkuk intelligence bureau today and to abduct a Kirkuk police officer.
