QUETTA: Unidentified militants fired rockets on security check posts in Kohlu and Sibi districts on Friday. However, no casualties were reported. "Two rockets were fired at a check post in Tilango area but they failed to hit their targets. Both rockets landed in open ground near the check post," an official source told Daily Times. In the other incident, militants attacked a check post in Tandoori area in Sibi district with rockets and small weapons but the security forces forced them to retreat with retaliatory fire. Separately, security forces claimed to have found a cache of weapons from Patukh area of Dera Bugti district. "Security forces raided two abandoned rooms during a search operation in Patukh. The raiding team seized a huge quantity of weapons stored in the rooms," an official said. No one could be arrested during the raid, he added.
