"He is the chief of Lashka-e-Jhangvi's suicide bomber squad in southern Punjab and was involved in plotting a suicide attack at a Shia mosque in Karachi" last year, police spokesman Riaz Khalid said in a statement. The men were arrested in a raid on a militant hideout on Monday in Multan, Khalid said. Khalid said that Nasir, who also went by the name Kashif, was a senior leader in the group which was planning more attacks against Shias in the area. |
