ElBaradei: Iran Not an Immediate Nuclear Threat
2006-06-01
Iran does not pose an immediate nuclear threat and the world must act cautiously to avoid repeating mistakes made with Iraq and North Korea, the head of the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency said on Tuesday.

Mohamed ElBaradei, director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said the world shouldn't "jump the gun" with erroneous information as he said the U.S.-led coalition did in Iraq in 2003, nor should it push the country into retaliation as international sanctions did in North Korea. "Our assessment is that there is no immediate threat," the winner of the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize told a forum organized by the Monterey Institute of International Studies south of San Francisco. "We still have lots of time to investigate."

#9  If Iran is no sort of threat, let's chain ElBaradei to some of their facilities and see if he breaks a sweat. Scumsucking rutbag cheese-weasle.

IOW: do nothing at all. Great plan, Mohamed. I can see why you got your job.

#5  I wish Isreal would just go ahead and bomb the MM already. It's not like we'll do anything to stop them.

#4  We don't have to start worrying for another couple of year.

Well, I feel better.

Good. Then there's still time to de-fang the Mad Mullahs without fear of nuclear retaliation. FASTER, PLEASE!!

#2  No threat except to Hillary's ambitions to be POTUS in 2008, and Radical Islam-Moud's ideo- and war justification for new recruits. Its against Islam to field an army that won't blow itself into smithereens - D*** it, its just not done in 72 Raisins = Virgins circles.
