Pakistan insisted on Saturday that the nuclear proliferation case against scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan had been closed and all important information had been collected and shared with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the United States. A leading US nuclear expert insisted in his testimony before the US Congress on Thursday that the case against Dr AQ Khan was "far from closed" and many questions, especially about Iran, remain unanswered. "We have completed our investigations and shared information with the IAEA and the US. We do not have any new information to share with the US," acting Foreign Office spokesman Suhail Mehmood said while responding to the US nuclear expert's remarks.
