#1 ![]() on October 22 last year, eight minutes after Flight 870 had taken off from Heathrow, the crew heard a “clunk” as the cockpit lighting failed. Five out of six flight information and navigational display monitors went blank and the captain had to take manual control, peering out of the cockpit window and relying on “the external night horizon” a Clunk sound is alright no problemo, but if you hear RIP and Harp, now thatr way bad. |
