| #7 Yes, and while old growth forest is important for the conservation of certain flora and fauna, it's the trees in their first twenty years of life that sequester the most carbon dioxide, and under which the most wildflowers and berry-producing shrubs grow (because the sunlight can get down to the ground between the smaller trees, that's why).
