Sea-faring bots In the future, robotics could play a role in anti-piracy defences, though the technology has yet to be endorsed by the International Maritime Bureau. #2 I thought the current policy was that robots were good for surveilence, but that a human had to make descisions and give orders to deliver fire. That kind of limits the potential use of robots, doesnt it? At least the kind they are talking about. |
