According to Jerusalem-based journalist Harinder Mishra, Israeli officials had confirmed they received invitations from Pakistani embassies in some countries. Responding to the invitations from Pakistani embassies, officials of the Israelâs Foreign Office said they had directed their diplomats to be very careful about such invitations, adding that they were trying to ascertain whether the invitations were being sent as part of Pakistanâs official policy or as result of personal relations between the diplomats. The officials said that Israeli embassies would reciprocate by inviting the Pakistani diplomats to its programmes. âIsrael aspires to end its diplomatic isolation in Muslim countries,â the officials added.
