| Sultan Demilkhanov, head of the Pamyatoi village administration in Chechnya's Shatoi district was killed last night, a Chechen government spokesman told Interfax on Monday. Demilkhanov, brother of Chechen State Council member and parliamentary candidate Ruslan Demilkhanov, was seriously wounded when his car came under fire high in the mountains on Sunday night. He died at the scene. |
