Palestinian security forces foiled 48 attempted attacks against Israeli targets last month, prime minister Ahmed Qorei said as US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was due in the region on a new peace push. "Palestinian security forces last month foiled 48 attempted attacks against Israeli targets. This is because Palestinian security is making a 100 percent effort," Qorei told reporters on Sunday. |

| #6 Well since Paleo Security is going at this 100%, it probably means most of their guys can't work at their parttime jobs, thus keeping terrorist attacks down. |

| #3 If Paleo security were making a 100% effort, it would include disarming Hamas, ij, FLP, etc. Furthermore hamas really believed Qorei was behind a serious anti terror campaign, Qorei would be dead. |

| #2 Probably because those "48 attempted attacks" were being deployed with faulty bomb vests (see Jordan) or the wrong caliber of ammunition. When the Palestinian Authority guns down a few well armed Hamas or Hizbollah squads making their way to an Israeli border crossing, I'll take some notice. Until then, this is just pap for general consumption. |
