A second terrorist man was moderately injured in the blast which occured when an Israeli drone fired a missile at the car near the northern town of Beit Lahiya, witnesses and medical sources said. Witnesses said several other terrorists gunmen were seen running away fleeing the vehicle shortly after the explosion.
The Israeli army confirmed the strike, saying the target was a cell of terrorists militants on their way to fire rockets into Israel. âThe Israeli air force attacked a vehicle carrying a Qassam rocket-launching terrorist cell near Beit Hanun which was on its way to fire rockets at Israel,â a spokeswoman said. She would not confirm the strike was launched from a drone. The raid came after Palestinian terrorists militants fired a rocket and a mortar shell into Israel, causing no damage or injuries. |
