| RCP: Could Estrada Get the SCOTUS Nod? |

| Estrada would be a rather tasty choice for conservatives. Just watching the left suffer apoplexia would be enough for this summer's political entertainment. The article also mentions that Senator Frist get chewed out for fumpling the Bolton nomination, which is a good thing, given the possibility that Estrada could be nominated. I'm on pins and needles now! |

| #3 The LLL amd MSM are gearing up for the hatefest that will follow any Bush nominee. Janis Rogers Brown would be a great chjoice since she JUST went through confirmation and the left couldn't possibly hae any MORE dirt on her. With the exception that maybe she stuck her tounge out at a fellow minority in Kindergarden, thus showing contempt for minority rights. Estrada would be a good one because it would lob two nukes at the left. First the McCain 14 would evaporate into thin air and the filibuster (sic) option would be tossed on the scrap heap of history. The bonus would be the large amount of time, money, and energy the LLL/MSM would have to expend towards defeating him. That might leave them spent right before the begining of the mid-term elections and give us neocons a springboard to launch our candidates from. |

| #1 Thanks for the post, badanov. I had forgotten all about Estrada untill now...He would be perfect! Failing that, Janice Rogers Brown, who's just run the gauntlet would be another great choice, too. Screw the Dhimmicrats--we're not gonna have any "moderates" (Souter/Stephens/Breyer/Kennedy clones). I want a strict constructionist and want them NOW before they try to rule anymore rights away! |
