#4 Van A. is accused of war crimes and complicity to genocide committed by the Iraqi regime under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein. He allegedly exported raw materials to Iraq between 1984 and 1988. The Iraqi regime then used chemical weapons in the 1980-88 war against Iran and against the Kurds in northern Iraq. The only way they can convict this guy of collusion in Genocide is to admit that Saddam is guilty of COMMITTING genocide. Works havoc on Saddam's defense in his upcoming trial, no? |
