Watershed Event: USGS to now Predict Earthquakes
2005-05-18
The USGS will now be posting next 24 hour probabilities of earthquakes for specific locations.
This is a very important breakthrough, because from now on, earthquake prediction becomes like weather prediction. At first it will be very innacurate, but as time goes by it will become more and more reliable.
