I think the new PHP version of the poster is ready to go, so I'm going to change the link and hope for the best. I'm sure you all will let me know about the bugs when they pop up...

I've got it set up so that all posts after 9.30 p.m. (server time) will go into the holding tank and appear the next day. It's been about a week, so cookies should be pretty well sorted out by now...

I'll be doing some more work under the hood tomorrow (but not Sunday, which is Mother's Day).

#8  I twice tried to post an article by American Taliban Johnny Walker Lindh's dad arguing that his son committeed no crime. Both times I got a message that the webpage had to be closed. Here's the link FWIW: http://www.dcbar.org/for_lawyers/washington_lawyer/may_2005/stand.cfm

#6  I had the PHP version of the main page mostly rewritten but the dog FTP ate it. It looked and acted almost exactly like the ASP main page, and had a few improvements. Since I was working on it, I hadn't made a current backup. It'll be rebuilt in the next few days, I hope.

Thanks for your support -- and your contributions. I very much appreciate them!

#2  One thing I'm not too keen on with the new PHP page: the articles list tells the number of comments for each article, but not when the most recent comment was; and the list of most recent commenters doesn't show when each comment was made. The old ASP page does these things; will they carry over, eventually?
