Another "Honor" Killing (Hat tip to LGF)
2005-04-16
AMSTERDAM — An Iraqi-Kurdish man, 21, is suspected of murdering his sister, 18, to protect the honour of the family, a court in Arnhem heard on Friday.
Another great tradition of Waslam - Honor killings. Why didn't the brother kill himself if he felt so despondent about the family "honor"?

During a pre-trial hearing, the presiding judge indicated the court wanted to question the victim's foster mother and aunt to establish if the killing was ordered by her family in Iraq.
Will the insanity in allan-worship ever end?

The foster mother is in hiding because she fears the family in Iraq wants to punish her for giving the victim too much freedom. I get it, now...blame everyone but the mullahs at the mosque she attended. Weren't they the ones who failed in her spiritual education?

The court has also ordered that the accused man from Culemborg be examined in the Pieter Baan psychiatric centre in Utrecht to find out if his cultural background played a role in the crime. An expert in 'honour' killings will also testify at a later hearing.
Oh, so you need an expert in barbaric practices to testify in a clear-cut murder.

The victim was a non-practising Muslim and had a child in 2004 by her non-Muslim boyfriend. She was killed 15 days after the birth of the baby.
It seems like Was-lam is kinda like the Mafia, or one of the gangs like the Crips. Once you are "made" you can't leave or you get murdered.

Her brother had allegedly regularly threatened the victim, and she had made a complaint to police in November 2004, shortly before her death.
Lesson learned: If you are a woman and you leave the practice of allan-worship/Was-lam...immediately have a court order place against all close male relatives. It seems the family "honor" (whatever that means) is more important than the family member, love, the law...anything.

#7  To be absolutely straight-faced and honest...if this happens in the US...prosecute under RICO. This is nothing more than organized crime under a religious veil.

#6  when we determine that his culture supports this sh*t, do we start eradicating it? Whatever happened to "never again"?

#3  The baby could starve or become a dhimmi for all he cares. The foster mom will be next.

#2  They'll consider his cultural background?

So, um, when they determine that his culture approves of this, will they set him free?

After all, who'll kill the baby? He's only half done.

#1  Seethe. And anymouse, doesn't sound as if the Dutch would have protected her if she had had a court order -- not to mention that I wonder if she could have gotten one. After all, we have to be tolerant of cultural differences, unless we're Muslim in which case we can demand that everyone bow down and kiss our ass.
