| Zarqawi gloats over US reservists being called up |

| A recent message from al-Qaeda in Iraq welcomes new US reservists recently deployed for active duty in Iraq. The statement lauds the news of their arrival, stating that "America needs more soldiers to be sent to death, as all of them want to run away." Addressing the soldiers specifically, the message argues: "cross worshippers: we have more and more killing and death for you - good news, we will get you [with] soldiers (mujahideen) who love to be martyrs as much as you love to run away." The current situation in Iraq, according to the communique "is created by the grace of Allah and what was achieved by the mujahideen when they rubbed their (Americans) noses in the dirt of humiliation." |

Military police, no less.
