Moscow, 8 March: Separatist leader Aslan Maskhadov has been killed in Chechnya, Maj-Gen Ilya Shabalkin, spokesman for the regional operation HQ for the antiterrorist operation in the North Caucasus, told Interfax on Tuesday [8 March].
