| #2 EEK, thats a thread I posted to as well. Well it was a narrow SPD victory with the Danish Party giving them a win. A very weak coalition. The BBC has more on the subject in english. |

| #1 North-Rhine Westfalia? Last Holdout? Hmmm - Probably the reson the SocDems still have a shot is my father's family who came here from that region 100+ years ago en masse, and upon gaining US citizenship, increased Republican vote in the Chicago suburbs and downstate Illinois... OK OK I'm exaggerating... |
