Why America is Hated?

#9  You know, I just start with the proposition that America is hated and work from there. I really don't care what the ROW thinks.

#8  Hey, it's only the left that wants to be loved by everyone and not do anything.

#6  A friend of mine who works as a strategic analyst once listened to a Muslim rant about how Allah would protect them from the Americans. They abosrbed this in silence, then another analyst asked, "But who will protect Allah from the Americans?" At the end of the day, they hate us because they know in their heart of hearts that all we need do is turn a key, and their entire religion and culture will disappear.

#5  Considering the character and reputation of the villains, thieves and scoundrels on the other side, as an American, I'm proud to be hated by these people.

#2  Ibrahim Nafai, one of Egypt’s and the Arab world’s most reputed journalists, accused the USA of dropping Genetically Modified Food on the poor Afghans and claimed that this type of food is poisonous and hazardous to humans!

"...most reputed journalists." Who says? Al Jezeera?

Nafai read Friedman article and then wrote a response that made him look as if he was a 12 year old boy caught by his mom touching his peter.

Maybe he was touching his pecker. He certainly wasn't using his head.

This article is from the Hate America crowd--this crowd has far reaching tenacles both in this country and abroad. Bunch of propagandistic bulls**t from the leftist intelligensia crowd--those that think they know more than the rest of us. We have always had some boneheads who haven't liked us for one reason or another. They seem to have mistaken us for someone who gives a rat's a*s.

#1  This is also true in the western (particulary european) media.

I remember a story that happened with Abdul Rahman Al Rashed, Al Sharq Al Awsat’s former editor in chief and the current manager of Al Arabiyah news channel. Al Rashed said: when I was the editor in chief of the newspaper, an employee wanted to publish a photo of an American soldier talking with an Iraqi girl on the street. Do you know what his caption was? “American soldier solicits sex from an Iraqi girl” If I didn’t personally see this picture, the photo and its caption would had been published in my newspaper".

I think that some western media such as the NYT or CBS would have let the photo run with the caption - 60 minutes would produce an expose on it.
