| Caught via Instapundit - another smackdown against the gun-grabbers. 2nd Amendment secures an individuals' right to keep and bear arms, not just "States" or a "State Militia". Brits might want to take notice the next time they have a hotprowl burglary, it's better when you can defend yourself |

| #1 The argument that the "RIGHT to keep and bear arms" applies only to states is, and always has been, stupid. The "gun grabbers" hope that "We The People" don't have enough sense to think for ourselves. That we don't know what The Constitution actually says. Afterall, a great many of us have fallen for the "Seperation of Church and State" LIE for years. Those words appear NOWHERE in The Constitution of the United States. They do however, appear in the constitution of the former Soviet Union. Anyway, the thought that a STATE would see the need to codify it's right to be an armed entity is ludicrous. OF COURSE THE 2ND AMENDMENT APPLIES TO THE INDIVIDUAL. Read The Federalist Papers.. According to our Founding Fathers, the STATE should NEVER, EVER have the upperhand over the people. The STATE should live in perpetual fear of The People. This is the only way a free society can function properly. And face it folks.......the STATE does NOT fear an unarmed citizenry. |
