#2 Doesn't sound to me like anyone will have the power to make a real settlement for quite a while. The dust will have to settle from a Paleo "civil" war first. Most likely another opportunity missed. |

#1 Mahmoud Abbas is the best bet. Mr. Abbas is a realist and has a good working relationship with President Bush & PM Ariel Sharon. Can he overcome the death cult jihadists such as Hamas & Arafat's collection of suicidal nuts is the question. |
