| #2 The author made one slight error in assuming that a US submarine-launched missile would be necessary. The Israelis have their own submarine launchable nuclear missiles, they don't need the US to retaliate. |

| #1 "I'm going to suggest something a little more forthright. The US nuclear shield worked well for the non-nuclear states in NATO. The concept can work again. I may be wrong but I thought we already had a missle sheild next to Iran, Oh yes, I remember now, it's called, Israel. Don't get me started on the Israeli Sampson clause. |
