| That spells i n f l a t i o n With the prices of "black gold" hovering near $50 a barrel, many Connecticut business owners are suddenly seeing red. The 75 percent increase in crude oil prices during the past year has kindled sharp increases in transportation costs, especially truck and air travel. |
