2004-09-28
A producer for CNN who was abducted in Gaza City was released on Tuesday, his father said. The father of Riad Ali told a group of reporters outside his home that his son had been released. "Thank you for standing next to me. Thank you for what you have done," the father said. CNN confirmed the release, saying Ali had been turned over to Palestinian police.
PA Spokesman - "We're sorry, we didn't mean to kidnap one of our best allies."

#2  Bet the hostage comes out of the safe house singing the praises of his captors (how nice they were, and concerned for his welfare, and truly concerned for the plight of their Paleostinian brothers)...and makes a big show of going to Friday prayers. Hosanna hosanna.
