MNF-I CONDUCT PRECISION STRIKE ON ZARQAWI SITE
2004-09-28
On September 28, 2004 at 4:04 a.m., Baghdad time, Multi-National Force-Iraq conducted a precision strike on a confirmed Abu Musab Al Zarqawi terrorist site in southern Fallujah. Several credible intelligence sources confirmed that members of the terrorist group were operating at the site at the time of the strike. Specifically identified at the location were rising AMZ associates. Recent strikes against the AMZ network have changed the leadership structure of the terrorist group causing numerous reorganizations within the group.
They've been reorganized into disseperate body parts.
The same sources reported that the terrorists at this site were planning attacks using foreign suicide bombers in vehicles rigged with explosives against Iraqi citizens and Multi-National forces in Iraq. At this time, it is unknown how many terrorists were killed by this strike. Based on detailed intelligence and analysis, Multi-National forces accurately targeted this terrorist location while protecting the surrounding homes. Intelligence indicated that only Zarqawi operatives and associates were at the site at the time of the strike.

#9  Hmmm. Makes me wonder if they use a lot of 2x2 matrices and powerpoints.

#8  You beat me to it, Mrs. D. Great minds, and all that. I think a bunch of the mid-level guys did go to business school -- I seem to remember seeing a corporate-type organizational chart of Al Quada during the pre-Afghanistan invasion period, and discussion of how that systematization made A.Q. superior to previous ad hoc terrorist groups.

Sounds like AMZ went to business school. Good thing we've got an MBA President.

I wonder if the terrorists use org charts and do threat/opportunity analysis and have performance goals and stragegic plans down to the subtask

#4  2b,

I agree, the U.S. have been making precision strike after precision strike. There is definitely a Muslim out there squealing like a piggy. Are we allowed to state Muslim and pig in the same sentence?

#3  if I were to bet my money - I'd say they have Zarqawi. It seems they alway store these guys away for 30+ days while they milk them. Plus, there has been this sudden upsurge in big kills and catches that seem to indicate new intelligence in his regard. It might also explain the sudden cooperation by Syria...and the capture of several big AQ leaders as well as other multiple other good news stories.

Hey, who knows? But seems to me likely that they got him and he's squealing like a little piggy.
