Iranian President Mohammad Khatami said Monday that his government is not supporting the uprising by Iraqi cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, and blamed U.S. troops for the fighting in the Shiite holy city of Najaf, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported. " He also stated that the sun rises in the west and that he has some good vaction time-share opportunities still available. |

#5 The reporter should have asked the following of Khatami: "Does Iran supports Hizbullah? If so does the fact that there are hizbullah fighters in Najaf fighting for as-Sadr mean Iran is now at war with the US in Iraq?" ![]() |
