| #3 I like to operate these aircraft because they are peaceful" Abed said, himself a colonel in the former regime's air force having flown MIG-23 jetfighters for 23 years before joining the new air force. Not to mention these are new well maintained aircraft, not rickety MiG23 with US Fighters waiting to pluck them out of the sky. |

| #1 Very cool. Interesting comment on operational matters wrt sequence of plan -> takeoff vs. get airborne then be told what to do. compare and contrast with syrian performance during the '82 bekaa valley turkey shoot. |
