An Israel Air Force warplane slammed a missile into a factory near the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Wednesday. There were no immediate reports of casualties in the strike on the building which the Palestinian sources said was a foundry. Israel Radio quoted military officials as saying it served as a weapons factory for Hamas. An IAF fighter jet struck the house of a top militant in the Hamas group in southern Gaza earlier this week. IDF officials said the target was a bomb factory they said was hidden in the house. The militant escaped through a window moments before the missile hit. |
